About ToolPulse

ToolPulse is a free collection of Canadian payroll and tax calculators built specifically for Ontario employees, freelancers and small business owners.

Why We Built This

Most payroll calculators online are built for Americans. Canadian workers deserve accurate, up to date tools that reflect the real tax rates, CPP contributions and EI premiums they actually pay. ToolPulse was built to fill that gap.

Our Calculators

All calculators are updated annually to reflect the latest federal and provincial tax brackets, CPP rates and EI premiums from the Canada Revenue Agency. We currently offer five free calculators for Ontario residents with more provinces and tools coming soon.

Accuracy

Our calculators use official 2025 tax rates from the CRA and Ontario Ministry of Finance. Results are estimates based on standard deductions and may vary based on your specific situation. We always recommend consulting a qualified tax professional for personalized advice.

Coming Soon

We are actively working on adding calculators for British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec and other Canadian provinces. We are also building tools for mortgage calculations, RRSP optimization and HST calculations.
